Bishop Lorna, of Sioux City, holds degrees from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn.; United Theological Seminary and Luther Seminary in the Twin Cities. Over the years, she has called many places home, including Minot and Williston, N.D.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Cumberland, Wis.
Previously, she was Assistant to the Bishop, Director of Missional Leadership; and Director of Christian Education at First Lutheran, Minot, and First Lutheran, Sioux Falls. Bishop Lorna also has served as resource specialist for the ELCA at Augsburg Fortress in Minneapolis; pastor of congregations in Williston and Hoople, N.D., Sioux Center and George, Iowa.
