April 21 & 28 -- Will people come back to in-person worship when the COVID pandemic has eased? Are the people joining our online worship service now part of our congregation and how do we deepen relationships with them? These are the kind of issues Author and Pastor Dave Daubert explores in his new book, Becoming a Hybrid Church. He will be leading a discussion for members of the Western Iowa Synod as part of Gather, Grow, and Go April 21 & 28. Copies of the book are available through Pastor Jim Mossman (jim.mossman.rev@wisynod.org) at $9/copy.
May 5, 12, and 19 -- Participants will study How to Fight Racism: Courageous Christianity and the Journey Toward Racial Justice by Jemar Tisby with Rev. Lowell Hennigs. Tisby roots the ultimate solution to racism in the Christian faith as we embrace the implications of what Jesus taught his followers. Those interested may continue the study into the summer. The book is available in kindle format or paperback through Amazon: How-Fight-Racism-Courageous-Christianity
ALL members of the Western Iowa Synod, lay and rostered, are invited to join this study on Zoom.
