ELW is more than a worship book. It is an entire collection of worship resources that will continue to develop over the years to come. These resources are designed to be flexible and adaptable, so as to meet the wide variety of needs within congregational use.

So that you can become familiar with the ELW resources there will be several introduction events held across the country, and right here in the Western Iowa Synod. We hope you will ‘come and see’ and experience these resources for yourself.

Each event is planned to be similar and includes time to sing and pray, explore the foundations for ELW and the service settings, experience the current resources and see the ongoing worship renewal in the ELCA. A light lunch will be provided. Each person registered will receive an ELW book.

Registration is required for meal and resource purposes. The cost is $20 per person. A congregation should plan to have several people attend, including pastor, music and worship committee, musician(s) and others interested in worship.
